The original creators of the LC. Murdon are aliens to earth, who were trapped there when a piece of their technology meant for exploration through time and space malfunctioned. Or, rather, worked exactly as it was supposed to, but only in one direction. The appeared in Ancient Greece and began their long existence attempting to adapt to the fast paced lives of human beings.
Murdon are extremely long lived, with lifespans that reach many, many thousands of years. They are not immortal, but it takes a damn long time for them to kick the bucket. They're formidable looking, growing between 7-10 feet in height, with an array of beautiful spikes forming a crest between their shoulder blades. They have four arms, and on each hand four fingers accompanied by two thumbs, one on either side of the palm. Their faces are very flat, with slit-like noses and luminous eyes. Their feet consist of two toes with long, blade-like talons. Furthermore, they sport a prehensile, segmented tail, also tipped in a scythe-like blade.
In coloration, the murdon are normally deep browns, with darker mottles, and pale undersides. Very rarely, lighter color mutations occur, such as on the infamous Amunuku, who is green and blue.
Murdon are also possessors of two brains, separated by a thin membrane. Only through osmosis can the two directly communicate with one another, which gives the murdon a slight MPD (although not hindering, and barely noticeable to non-murdon species). They are also extremely intelligent, and capable of many kinds of psionic powers, including telekinesis, telepathy, and empathy. While not true shapeshifters, the murdon can disguise itself using mind tricks to make it appear as a human or LC.
There are very few murdon left on their home planet, Zar. Their species has mostly destroyed the atmosphere, and now the survivors live in a few towering cities in the Southern hemisphere, where they will never see the ground. This was their original reason for sending individuals on expeditions to find new planets. They want to recreate Zar, so they may once again flourish and enjoy the comfort and perfection of their home.
