Legacy Creations

The Legacy Creations are not the same species. All LC are genetically different species, closely enough related to interbreed like horses and donkeys. Not, say, a german shepherd and a golden retriever.

Legacy Creations are so called because they are the created species made by the murdon leaders trapped on earth. There were several species of these prior to their return to Zar, but (for the most part) only three were brought with them and remain under their care.

LC were originally adapted from animals. The murdon used real, live, earth species to create the LC, changing their size, appetites, and abilities, and making them much more powerful and intelligent than they were originally. LC are quadrupeds, and remain in appearance very similar to their origin species (for example, a rabbit-type Euclides will have the same physical structure as a rabbit). There are a few major anatomical differences, though, disregarding types and mutations.

All LC are of a similar size, being roughly 3-6 foot at the shoulder depending on the origin-species. Yes, even a twee field mouse is now roughly the size of your neighbour’s malamute. And just as voracious too! LC are omnivores, each and every one of them, from the wolf-species to the deer. All have similar dental structure, with longer canines for tearing, flat molars for chewing, and a digestive system similar (but much stronger) than that of a human being. If an LC chooses to live its life as a herbivore this is an individual and conscious choice. Not something decided by physiology.

LC are also born with certain powers and levels of these powers, which determine their rank at birth. While these powers and ranks can be increased throughout life, their genetic make-up remains the same from birth, so newly acquired ranks do not pass on to any offspring.

LC come in variations called 'types,' which are roughly equivalent to 'elements', in that they determine color, mutations, appearance, personality traits, and powers.

Stats

All LC (as well as murdon and humans, in this case) receive a set number of stats during their creation. This will effect some attributes of role-playing and sparring, but is primarily used for metaplots, mini-stories, guild activities, and other events which require character contribution. Stat worth is between 1-250. No stat can be less than 1, or more than 250. 1 indicates that an individual is very poor in this stat, where as higher number indicate a better grasp at the skill. For example, an LC with 2 in strength will be significantly skinnier and weaker than an LC with 100 in strength.

For each LC a player receives they will get 120 points (for adults) or 60 points (for bebes) to distribute between the 6 stats as they so choose. Certain species will receive stat bonuses in addition to starter stats. Certain ranks, as well, will receive more starter stat points than other ranks.

Strength: Indicates level of musculature, the physical strength of the individual
Intelligence: Very basically, the LC's IQ - how intelligent they are, how much they know, and their level of life experience.
Dexterity: The LC's flexibility and precision.
Charisma: How charming and persuasive the individual is.
Agility: The LC's speed and "maneuverability.
Endurance: How long the LC can exert themselves before tiring.

Increasing Stats

There are various ways of increasing stats throughout the gameplay.
